Hi, my name is Payton Day. I’m a Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Nutrition coach, and I’ve had a passion for living a healthy lifestyle from a very young age. I grew up playing all sorts of sports: basketball, volleyball, soccer, track and field, and more. Once I graduated high school, I found out that I had a passion for weightlifting.
I was weightlifting on a recreational level before I was introduced to Nexus Health and Fitness. Here, I reunited with my love for competitive sports and discovered Powerlifting and Strong Woman competitions. Over the past year and a half, I placed 2nd overall in Powerlifting and also placed 2nd at the 2020 CAASA Provincial Qualifier for Strong Woman (LightWeight Women’s division).
It’s only right that I begin helping others with their fitness journey after Nexus Health and Fitness has been so influential in mine. I have been training clients for the past year and a half, and my background in strength and conditioning can help individuals of all ages. I have three goals when working with clients: educating them as much as possible, making sure that they remain confident in a gym setting, and pushing them to their true potential while keeping safety in mind.
